To the Editor:

On behalf of Newtown Youth and Family Services and our Holiday Festival Committee, we would like to thank the community of Newtown for supporting the 38th Annual Holiday Festival. Weather was a bit of a challenge but the turnout for the Nutcracker Ballet performed by Newtown Centre of Classical Ballet & Voice, the beautifully decorated homes on Main Street for the return of the Historic House Tours & Tea, outside market vendors that braved the conditions and the 75+ items donated to the Festival of Trees were amazing! We are excited to have our continued partnership with Newtown Savings Bank as our premier sponsor.

NYFS is blessed to have many local businesses sponsor our event/activities: A Better Me, Around Town Real Estate, Baum Braces, Boost Bowls, Caraluzzi’s, Church Hill Village, C.H. Booth Library, Connie Widmann &Team-William Raveis Real Estate, Diversified Printing Solutions, Edmond Town Hall, Eversource, CironeFriedberg CPA, Ingersoll Auto of Danbury, Interstate Propane, Linde, Macaroni KIDs, Mt Pleasant Hospital for Animals, Nanavaty, Davenport, Studley & White LLP, Newtown Family Dentistry, Newtown Wellness Collective, Planters’ Choice Nursery, Pleasant Paws Pet Center, People’s Oil, Renewal by Andersen, Rotary Club of Newtown, Sandbox Beach Grill, Savings Bank of Danbury, Sikorsky Credit Union, St Rose of Lima, The Toy Tree, and Trinity Episcopal Church. We are beyond grateful for individuals and businesses that donated to support this annual Newtown event/NYFS fundraiser. We appreciate all the energy and time of our volunteers and staff to make this day possible. We have started the planning process for next year (always looking for Committee Members), please mark your calendar now for Sunday, December 8th, 2024!
