The lot is accompanied with provenance and documentation from the Hungarian Consulate and both the letter and carving are marked with the 1904 Hungarian government seal.
From the Woodstock estate comes a handsome Mission-style slate pool table with leather basket pockets.
Furniture includes everything from an Eighteenth Century Dutch marquetry bombe bureau to Nineteenth Century faux bamboo dressing tables. Highlights from the selection of American furniture include an Eighteenth Century inlaid Hepplewhite card table, a Sheraton cookie corner chest, a Hepplewhite mahogany sideboard and numerous candlestands.
