To the Editor,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Newtown Visiting Nurse Association for their generosity in awarding me the Mary M. Holian Scholarship for Returning Students.

As a nurse faculty member at Southern Connecticut State University, I believe in the value of excellence in nursing education. The future of our health care system depends on qualified, devoted nurses who exemplify the definition of health care professional. This scholarship has helped provide me an opportunity to contribute to this important endeavor.

Again, my sincere gratitude to The Newtown Visiting Nurses. Thank you and may you enjoy a delightful holiday season.
