Josephine F. Puente

Josephine (Force) Puente, 85, of Trumbull, a retiree of Hawie Manufacturing, died on December 22 at Shady Knolls Health Center, Seymour.

She is survived by a son, Calvin Puente, Jr, and his wife, Audrey, and a daughter, Virginia Donahue and her husband, Dennis, all of Newtown.

Born in Bridgeport, Mrs Puente was a daughter of the late John and Francesina Force.

She was predeceased by her husband, Calvin Puente, Sr. Mrs Puente was a loving mother and grandmother and is survived by her devoted children, including another daughter, Frances Coates and her husband, Kenneth, of Ocala, Fla.; six grandchildren, Richard Coates of Ocala, Christina Lake and her husband, Damian, of West Haven, Annette Puente of Milford, Stacy Puente of West Haven, Kimberly Viadero and her husband, James, of Newtown, and Kelly Donahue of Newtown. She was predeceased by a brother, Michael Force and a sister, Rose Nassara.

Funeral services took place on December 27 from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at St Theresa Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment followed in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
