To the Editor:

This time of the year especially evokes many different emotions in all of us — happiness, business, anticipation, tears, gratefulness, joy, appreciation and thanks to name a few.

On behalf of Newtown United, LLC, we would like to acknowledge the following for their participation in the Artful Bra event:

To all the Bratistas, we say thank you;

To all the restaurants and delis who donated food for the Artful Bra event, we say thank you;

To all the cookie makers, we say thank you;

To all the volunteers of time, talent, and money, we say thank you;

To the singers of Western Connecticut University, we say thank you;

To all who attended this two-day event, we say thank you;

To the multitude of helpers behind the scenes, we say thank you;

To The Newtown Bee, and especially Shannon Hicks, we say thank you;

To all the models, we say thank you!

Your generosity will enable Ann’s Place, Home of I Can to be of service to many families who have been touched by cancer.
