Ann Murcko & John Murphy

A July 2011 wedding is being planned for Ann Elizabeth Murcko, daughter of the Honorable William J. and Joan Lavery of Newtown, and John Edward Murphy, son of Henry and Mary Murphy, also of Newtown.

The future bride, who is currently a resident of Newtown, is a 2000 graduate of Newtown High School. She received her bachelor’s degree from Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio in 2004, and her master’s from Bridgeport University in 2008.

She is a high school English teacher.

The future groom, who also lives in Newtown, is a fellow member of Newtown High School’s Class of 2000. He attended Wake Tech in North Carolina, and is employed as a land surveyor by Brautigam Land Surveyors, PC.
