Adopt A Cat Or Kitten

The following cats and kittens are available for adoption from The Animal Center:

ERNIE is a friendly, 1-1/2 year old black and white male cat. He gets along great with other cats and loves to be petted. He is neutered and current on vaccines.

CICI, a stray kitten, was picked up by caring people who felt badly that she was living on the streets. They meant well, but their children weren’t ready for a little kitten. One day, she was thrown and the impact broke her leg. The family brought her to the vet, but they didn’t have any money to fix her up. That’s when The Animal Center was contacted, and officials didn’t hesitate to bring her into the rescue and adoption program so that she could get the urgent vet care she needed. Cici is still in the hospital, but she’s feeling much better. Her doctor anticipates that she will be ready for adoption in January, but Animal Center officials are accepting applications now. Cici is very friendly, affectionate, and sweet. She is spayed and current on vaccines.

LETTERMAN is a playful, friendly, outgoing gray and white tuxedo kitten who loves life and everyone he meets. He’s affectionate, does well with other animals and, because he loves children so much, Animal Center officials are hoping he gets adopted by a family with children. He is neutered and current on vaccines.

SAMANTHA (adoption pending) is a friendly and affectionate adult calico. She was left behind when her owners moved. She loves to be petted and would be a wonderful addition to any home with a family looking for a sweet feline companion. She is spayed, healthy, and current on vaccines.

COLTRANE came from a family whose cat had kittens. The family just moved into the area and the landlord  threatened eviction if they didn’t find a place for Coltrane. Coltrane loves to eat, play, and love. His is just over 3 months old, neutered, healthy, and current on vaccines.

MACI is a super friendly, approximately 3 1/2 month old kitten. She would do very well in a household with children where she could get a lot of love, play time, and attention. When Animal Center officials brought her into the program, she had an upper respiratory infection, but she’s feeling much better and is ready for adoption. Maci is spayed and current on vaccines.

FIONA is a very friendly, purry, and affectionate 4 month old kitten. Her petite form and angular features suggest she has some Siamese heritage in her. She would adjust easily to a new home environment. Fiona is spayed and current on vaccines.

CLARABELL showed up on a kind-hearted family’s doorstep on Thanksgiving. She is very affectionate and friendly, so Animal Center officials know she belonged to a family at one time. Officials don’t know why anyone would have abandoned her, but do know she’s so happy to be rescued. Her kittens have both been adopted, and Clarabell is looking for a new home for the holidays. She’s approximately 1 1/2 years old, spayed and current on vaccines.

Good news: Shayna, Mackenzie, Cinnamon, Jade, Karma, and Mimi were adopted.

The Animal Center is an all volunteer, non-profit animal  welfare charity. Programs include: A
