Stand-Up Comedy For New Year’s Eve

WATERBURY — Seven Angels Theatre will present greater Waterbury’s original “Stand Up And Count Down,” an evening of top professional comedians performing in the venue where they’re meant to be seen. This ninth annual event will have audiences roaring in their seats as they kick off the new year in grand theatrical style.

Audiences may purchase tickets for either of two shows on December 31. The early show begins at 6:30 pm, or for those would prefer to ring in 2005 at Seven Angels, a 9:30 performance is also scheduled. Ticket prices for the 9:30 show include a midnight champagne toast and catered buffet by Ian Purdy, C.C.

Early show tickets begin at $40, and the later show prices begin at $60.

Author and comedienne Fran Capo, comedienne Judy Cianciotto and comedian Denis Donohue will get the laughs going. The evening’s headliner is Peter Fogel.

Seven Angels is located in Waterbury’s historic Hamilton Park Pavilion on Plank Road, just minutes off I-84 Exit 24 West or Exit 25 East.
