Russian Orphans Seek Adoption

NEW BRITAIN — MAPS International announced this week that it will invite 20 to 30 Russian orphans for an annual host-to-adopt Russia Summer Program. The children will arrive in the United States on July 9 and will return to Russia on August 13.

For families considering adoption, this is a way to meet an older child and see the child in your family environment. There are individual children and sibling groups available ranging in age from 5 to 14 years.

The children participating are recommended by their Russian orphanage directors as healthy, bright children with potential to thrive in the proper home. The deadline for application for the summer program is April 15.
