Benefit Concert

Returning For 4th Year

On Friday, January 7, at 8 pm, Newtown resident Richard Serbagi will conduct the Concert Society of Putnam and Northern Westchester at Trinity Episcopal Church, 36 Main Street in Newtown. A reception will follow the performance.

This 4th Annual Holiday Concert will feature John Hanulik playing the oboe d’amore, and a work written by Connecticut composer Joseph Russo in memory of 9/11.

Back by acclamation is soprano Maria Ferrante and violinist Eric Lewis, who will be the soloist as Maestro Serbagi conducts Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons.

Tickets can be purchased for $30 each at the circulation desk at C.H. Booth Library or at Newtown Savings Bank branches. No tickets will be sold at the door, and this concert has sold out for the past three years.

All proceeds from the performance will help the Young Adult department of Cyrenius H. Booth Library purchase non-fiction books for its collection.
