To the Editor:

This Christmas will be one I remember forever. I want to thank all the residents of Newtown who extend the action of donating gifts to the less fortunate. With all your help I am able to give my son a cherishing Christmas.

This year my belief in Santa Claus has been resurrected by the gift of giving. Thank you to all the secret Santas, you have brought a brightness like the North Star to our lives this Christmas. A short time ago I was wishing to somehow provide my son with a memorable Christmas with gifts, and I was feeling disappointed with myself that I would not be able to give him that with already penny pinching to get by. We feel extremely blessed to have all of you making my Christmas wish come true.

I can’t thank the residents of this town enough. Because of all of your help, I am able to give my son a Christmas he deserves and one of many that bring blessings and joy to our family. With tears of joy I was taken aback by the contributions. Thank you again to the town that makes the dreams of low-income families come true.
