OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma – Holly Spagnola of Newtown and her chestnut American Quarter Horse, IMA Phenomenon, earned a top 10 finish at the FedEx Open Competition at the recent American Quarter Horse Association World Championship Show in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The AQHA World Championship show is the largest, richest single-breed world championship show in existence with nearly $2.2 million awarded to 3,059 riders from 49 states, five Canadian provinces, and Brazil, Germany, Italy, Mexico and the United Kingdon.

To qualify for the show, riders must have earned a pre-determined number of points in AQHA-approved shows from August 1, 2003, through July 31, 2004. The Outdoor Life Network (OLN) will air highlights of the AQHA World Championship Show on December 5 and December 12.
