Youth Programs

Children of Divorce will meet on Monday evening, January 8, from 6 to 7, at Newtown Youth Services. This group is for students in grades one through six.

Sibshops will meet on Monday, January 8, from 5 to 6 pm. This group is for children in grades one through six who have a brother or sister with special needs.

HSYAB will meet on Monday, January 8, at 2:15 pm. Agenda items will be projects for the remainder of the school year and also charity fundraisers. Please make an effort to attend. To carry out some of these ideas requires a lot of people.

Moms Groups

Moms of Infants — For age 1 and younger will begin meeting again in January. The group meets on Tuesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 am. If you are interested, call Newtown Youth Services at 270-4335 to register.

Gym Time will begin on Wednesday, January 3. Time is from 9:30 to 11:30 amand is for preschool children. The fee is $30.

Support Groups

Hope and Support will resume meeting on Monday, January 8, from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. Parents or guardians with questions or concerns about a child’s possible or confirmed involvement with substances are welcome to attend this group. The Hope Group will not meet on school holidays, during school breaks, or on snow days.

Grandparents’ Group — The Second Time Around: Raising Your Children’s Children is an ongoing support program that will next meet on Wednesday, January 10, from noon to 1:30 pm. There is no fee.
