Stages Living Nativity Pageant

Parishioners at St Rose of Lima Church gathered on the church grounds on the night of Saturday, December 16, for the Living Nativity of Jesus of Nazareth.

Church members in costume, with live animals in hand, reenacted the First Christmas. They were accompanied by the reading of scripture and song.

A narrator described the events leading to the birth of Jesus.

The Nativity scene, which was presented following an evening Mass, was well-attended.

Reverend Robert E. Weiss, church pastor, spoke to parishioners at the event.

Following the Nativity, parishioners enjoyed hot chocolate and cookies in the nearby parish hall.
