Devoted Mother

Dorothy Pogasnik Csehak, 81, a lifelong Bridgeport resident, died December 20 in her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Emery G. “Jim” Csehak.

A devoted wife and mother, Mrs Csehak is survived by her daughter Lynn M. Keegan and her husband, Raymond, of Newtown, and their children, Jeffrey Thomas and his fiancé, Vickie Roland and Christine Carroll and her husband, Chuck; and a son, Kenneth Csehak and his wife, Karin, of Trumbull and their children Kenneth (K.C.) and Kristopher Csehak; a great-granddaughter, Tatum Carroll; her brother, Robert Pogasnik of Bridgeport; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 23, at 9:15 am, from the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, and at 10 am in St Andrew Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove of Easton Cemetery. Friends may call Friday, December 22, from 4 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer s Association, 10 Wall Street, Norwalk CT 06850.
