GLENS FALLS, N.Y. — Through Sunday, January 13, Hyde Collection will continue the exhibition “Natura Morta: Still-Life Painting and the Medici Collections.” With 42 paintings created between 1618 and 1720 from the Medici collections, the exhibition offers a rare opportunity to see works of art that beautifully illustrated the artistic concern with “abundance in nature,” a preoccupation that influenced the development of western art and culture.

This exhibition is organized by Contemporanea Progetti, Florence, Italy, and is in the Charles R. Wood Gallery.
