Mr & Mrs Glenn Zuklie

Melanie Anne Bot and Glenn James Zuklie, both of Newtown, were married on August 10, 2007, at Newtown Meeting House by Justice of the Peace Marianne Malkin. A reception followed at Tashua Knolls Country Club in Trumbull.

The bride is the daughter of Susan and Tibor Bot. She was given into marriage by her father.

Matron of honor was Courtney Wojnarowski of Milford. Bridesmaids were Stacy Purcell of Newtown and Sarah Torok of Bethel.

The attendants wore matching deep V-neck red gowns, and carried bouquets of roses and calla lilies filled with hypericum berries.

Best man was Joseph DeJulio of Newtown. Ushers were Todd Bokina of Southbury, Greg Mahler of Raymond, Maine, and Frank Maturi of Southbury.

The flower girl was Ava Wojnarowski, and ring bearers were Johnny and Hunter Wojnarowski.

Mr Zuklie is the son of James and the late Carole Zuklie. He is a graduate of Newtown High School and also of Western Connecticut State University. He is a retired police officer.

Melanie is a graduate of Newtown High School and of Danbury Hospital School of Radiologic Technology. She is employed as a radiologic technologist in Waterbury.

Following a two-week honeymoon in Ireland, the Zuklies are home in Newtown.
