John Philip Reilly, 66, of Sandy Hook died unexpectedly November 25 at his home. He was born in Danbury on August 4, 1950, a son of Genevieve (Duda) Reilly of Sandy Hook and the late William Reilly.

A lifelong resident of the Danbury area, Mr Reilly was a graduate of Henry Abbott Technical School. He worked in area factories and was last employed as a bartender at the American Legion Post in Danbury. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed bowling.

In addition to his mother, several of his aunts, uncles, and cousins survive him. His twin brother, William Reilly, predeceased him.

Funeral services will be private.
