Shaun Cavanaugh of Newtown, a 1999 graduate of Newtown High School and now a sophomore midfielder for the Wheaton College men’s soccer team, recently was named for the National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA)/Adidas NCAA Division III All-New England team. Cavanaugh, who had seven goals and seven assists for Wheaton this past season, was named to the All-New England fourth team. He was one of four Wheaton College players to be honored with selections.
