To the Editor:

A network evening news show recently showed closeup shots of three supposed mystery drones.

There may be mystery drones out there but these were not among them.

On all three I spotted flashing red and green wingtip nav lights, and on one even a strobe.

Aircraft below 10-thousand feet, descending or departing, show landing lights for collision avoidance. This is standard operating procedure.

Would someone please advise the sensationalists to look for possible nav lights?
