Gloria E. Hudson, 67, of Sherman, beloved wife of Richard M. Hudson, died on December 16 at New Milford Hospital. She was born in Townshend, Vt., daughter of the late NoElla and Andrew Appi.

Her husband, Richard; her sons and their wives, Allen and NoElle Raiano of Newtown, Gary and Tammy Raiano of New Fairfield, Mark and Jennifer Hudson of New Fairfield, and David Hudson of Sherman; her sister, Sharon Raiola, and husband, Tom, of Branford; and her beloved grandchildren, Alexis, Kylie, Cooper, Sam, Hazel, Henry, and Vera, survive her. Her first husband, Al Raiano, and her daughter, Tory Hudson, predeceased her.

Ms Hudson was a longtime member, liturgical coordinator, and cantor for St Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield.

Family and friends may call at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, on Tuesday, December 20, from 5 to 8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Edward the Confessor Church, 21 Brush Hill Road, on Wednesday, December 21, at 11 am. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Route 37, New Fairfield.
