Starbucks Pajama Program Ongoing
Starbucks continues to ask the public for donations of new pajamas and new books for underprivileged children and foster children.
The Pajama Program at Starbucks delivers warm sleepwear and nurturing books to needy children from infants to 17 years old, many of whom are waiting and hoping to be adopted. Many of these youngsters have been abused or abandoned and in many cases, have never enjoyed the simple comfort of having a loving mother or father tuck them in at bedtime.
For many of the children who come from broken homes or are waiting to be adopted, the gift of new pajamas gives more than just something to sleep in. Itâs like giving the children a hug at bedtime.
Donations will be accepted at the Starbucks stores in Newtown and New Fairfield through the end of December.
