Mr & Mrs Barry Blumenfield

Jodi Jeffrey and Barry Blumenfield were married on November 28, 2008, at The Heritage Hotel in Southbury.

The bride is the daughter of Jane Jeffrey of Newtown and Douglas Jeffrey of Southbury. The groom is the son of Joan Guarnera of Eastchester, N.Y., and Arthur Blumenfield of Easton. Justice of the Peace Sam Mayer performed the double-ring ceremony.

The wedding party portrayed the newly created family: in attendance with the bride and groom were the groom’s daughters Emily and May Blumenfield as maids of honor and the bride’s son Rob Jeffrey as best man.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an elegant light ivory satin wedding gown with empire beading and a chapel train. She carried a cascading bouquet of ivory and lavender roses with purple lisianthus blooms.

Her maids of honor wore purple floor-length satin dresses and carried handheld bouquets of ivory, coral, orange, and lavender roses with purple lisianthus blooms.

The bride graduated from Newtown High School. She is a business analyst with Prudential in Shelton.  The groom graduated from Joel Barlow High School and Cornell University. He is the CEO of BMI Fulfillment Services.

Barry and Jodi Blumenfield reside in Redding.
