The Community Access Channel is responsible for providing local community members and organizations with the opportunity to provide or produce local programming. This is meant to enhance a sense of community and promote a diversity of viewpoints as an alternative to commercial television.

This free opportunity is a public affairs forum, which permits the expansion of information on a variety of topics not normally available to local audiences. CTV-21 encourages the use of their free production facilities for the creation of local programming.

CommuniTyVision 21 is Charter Communications’ multi-award-winning community access department serving 14 towns in the western Connecticut franchise area. Programming on CommuniTyVision 21 can be viewed in Bethlehem, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Kent, Monroe, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown, Roxbury, Sherman, Southbury, Trumbull, Washington, and Woodbury.
