Inspiring Performance

To the Editor:

Kudos to the children and instructors of the middle and high schools for their outstanding band performance last week.  It was inspiring to see the progression from the seventh grade on up, each grade expressing their love for music, the passion for their instrument, and an innocent joy that brought tears to our eyes.

Several hundred students harmoniously ended the spectacular evening with a piece played in unison and with utmost precision. Have you ever heard the like? Well, maybe only at Carnegie Hall.
