Dog Show Winners Announced

Canine Training and Behavior Services, LLC students had success at the Thanksgiving Cluster’s four day dog show weekend held recently at the Big E Fairgrounds in Springfield, Mass. Leading the way were Newtown residents Mary Simpson and her Australian Shepherd, Travis who completed his American Kennel Club rally and advanced to the title by scoring three qualifying scores in three days. Simpson has been actively showing and breeding Australian Shepherds and Collies for more than 10 years. Also scoring big were fellow Newtown residents, Lynn and Scott Kovacks with Rottweiler Hans who completed his Novice Rally title at the event. Hans is a dual show dog competing in both breed conformation and obedience. Rounding out the field was the Standard Poodle, Lucy, owned by the Reverend Pat Nichols, and Nina Seturins with her Beagle Brady, both garnering qualifying scores.

Canine Training Behavior Services, LLC has been training Newtown residents’ dogs for more than 20 years.
