Joseph R. Samperi

Joseph R. Samperi, 89, of Monroeville, Penn., formerly of Newtown, and the husband of the late Catherine (Grosso) Samperi, died December 14 in Cedars of Monroeville.

Mr Samperi was born May 30, 1922, in Bridgeport and was the son of the late Thomas and Marie Samperi.

Survivors include a daughter, Joanne Kendell and her husband, Henry, of Murrysville, Penn.; two grandchildren, Yvonne Vicola and Mark Kendell; and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by four brothers, Jack, Angelo, Anthony, and John Samperi.

The funeral was held on December 19 in St Margaret Shrine with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment was in St Michael Cemetery.
