Lawrence Robert Kayfus (Larry), 78, of Sandy Hook, peacefully passed away November 18 at the West Haven VA Hospital after a long battle with cancer.
Larry, known to many of his friends as “The Grumpy Old Vet,” was born on May 16, 1946, in Bridgeport. He was the son of William Kayfus Jr and Jennie Kayfus (Barna).

Larry also enjoyed traveling with his friend from Post 16 attending many American Legion conventions as well as visiting the local Posts along the way.
