NAMI Meeting January 6

Fairfield — On Wednesday, January 6, NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Fairfield’s First Wednesday of the Month Speaker Meeting will present “Understanding Permanent Supportive Housing for the Homeless with Mental Illness” with Joyce Platz from Hall-Brooke Behavioral Services. The meeting will be at First Church Congregational, 148 Beach Road, at 7:30 pm.

The lecture will cover the concept of permanent supportive housing; federal and state definitions of chronic homelessness, homelessness, and disabled persons; and the eligibility criteria and application process for Community Residential Services.
