Nick Lafky

Lafky is a sophomore on the Newtown High School swimming and diving team.

Favorite part about swimming: “I like working hard so you can see your improvement in meets.”

Toughest aspect: His swimming schedule. Lafky swims before school with his YMCA Mako swim team then practices with the Nighthawks after classes.

When he’s not in the pool: Enjoys wakeboarding and snowboarding.

Favorite subject: Science.

Food of choice: Pasta.

Dream job: “I’d like to be a professional swimmer or wakeboarder … a pro athlete of some sort.”
