Road Rage

Newtown police said they investigated a report of a road rage incident that allegedly occurred in Newtown, Bethel, and Danbury on November 27.

After learning that police held a warrant for his arrest, motorist Kurt C. Brink, 49, of Danbury went to the police station at about 8:30 pm on December 15 and was charged with reckless driving, failure to drive a reasonable distance apart with the intent of harassing or intimidating, and illegal use of high-beam headlamps.

Details on the incident that prompted those charges were not immediately available from police.

After arrest processing, police released Brink on $100 bail for a January 4 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
