MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. — The Minneapolis Institute of Arts presents “Nuno,” on view through March 3.

Feathers, paper, steel, rusty iron and old clothes are all used in the creations of NUNO, Japan’s cutting edge design company of innovative techno textiles.

Reverence for the great traditions of Japan’s refined textile history, and fascination with new advanced technologies, have led the designers of this young company to create fabrics that excite architects and fashion designers alike. This exhibition features 14 textiles that highlight the creative expression of NUNO during the last two decades.
