*Local guys THE ADULTS have three shows coming up, including one this weekend at The One-Eyed Pig in Newtown.

The band will begin performing around 9 o’clock Saturday over at The Pig, 71 South Main Street (within Ricky’s Shopping Center). After a break of a few weeks, they will return on Friday, January 13, to The Pig, performing a 5-8 pm acoustic happy hour show, and the following weekend, on Saturday, January 21, they will be over at The Redding Roadhouse (406 Redding Road; telephone 203-938-3388).

*FURTHUR, featuring Phil Lesh and Bob Weir, will return to the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford in the spring. Tickets for the April 7 show have been set at $49.50 and $59.50, and will be on sale Friday, December 16, at 10 am, through LiveNation.com and the Oakdale’s website (which I believe may just redirect you to TicketMaster anyway.)

*Tickets for THE MOODY BLUES, who will also be at the Oakdale in April, just went on sale last week. Tickets for that show, on April 20, are $35 to $55, and can also be purchased through the theater, which again, will just redirect you to LiveNation.

For additional information on either of these shows, call the Oakdale’s box office at 203-265-1501.

*Tickets for FOREIGNER’s February 18 visit to The Klein in Bridgeport (910 Fairfield Avenue) — part of the band’s 35th anniversary tour — have been put on sale through Fairfield Theater Company. Priced from $45 to $85, tickets can be purchased through FTC’s website or by calling its box office, 203-259-1036.

*Meanwhile, DEEP BANANA BLACKOUT has a pair of shows on FTC’s StageOne (70 Sanford Street in Fairfield), including one on New Year’s Eve; BIG BAD VOODOO DADDY returns on January 8; MARC COHN has a pair of shows, at 7 and 10 pm, on January 14; CHERYL WHEELER headlines on January 15; THE MALONE BROTHERS — featuring Tommy Malone of The Subdudes and Dave malone of The Radiators — will be in Fairfield on January 26; CHRISTOPHER ROBIN BAND returns on February 4; and TAB BENOIT returns on February 11.

Visit FTC’s website (FairfieldTheatre.org) for the full calendar and ticket options.

*TOBY KEITH will be returning to Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, February 3, and those tickets ($65 and $85) will be going on sale Friday, December 16, at 10 am, through TicketMaster.

Rodney Atkins will be opening, and tickets will also be sold — if the show doesn’t sell out first — at the casino’s box office beginning Saturday morning.

*Tickets will be going on sale Saturday, December 17, for TOOL’s January 31 show at Mohegan Sun Arena. Tickets are $49 and $69, and will be available through TicketMaster for the first 24 hours, and then also through the box office in Uncasville.

Until next week, I’ll be seeing you… on the road.
