Danbury Brass At NCC, Sunday

The Danbury Brass will perform selections of the seasons in the sanctuary of Newtown Congregational Church on Sunday, December 18.

The performance will begin at 3 pm. Admission is free and open to all.

The Danbury Brass Band, which is directed by Alan Raph, is in its 22nd year. The non-profit organization is dedicated to the performance of music written for brass instruments, especially music of all types written and/or arranged for Danbury Brass Band. To date, over 200 such works have been premiered.

The band has performed throughout the New England and New York regions, at NYC Brass Conferences, and also in Bermuda, Australia and New Zealand.

A reception will follow Sunday’s concert.

The building is handicapped accessible.
