Mother and      Grandmother

Betty Simms McGorry, 86, of Hundred Acres Road, formerly of Bayside, Queens, N.Y., died December 7 in Danbury Hospital. Mrs McGorry was the wife of the late Vincent McGorry.

She was born in Astoria, N.Y., August 11, 1919, a daughter of Joseph and Mary (McCaffrey) Simms.

Mrs McGorry is survived by two daughters, Patricia J. McGorry of Newtown and Barbara Moosbrygger of Port Jefferson, N.Y.; and a son, Kenneth V. McGorry of Manhassett, Long Island, N.Y.; a sister, Roberta Lacy of Walton, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, Bayside, Queens, December 10. Burial will be in Volusia Memorial Park, Ormond Beach, Fla.
