Shakesperience To Hold Winter Acting Classes

WATERBURY — Shakesperience Productions, Inc will hold acting classes for students ages 7-16 on Saturdays, from January 6 through March 10 (snow dates included).

The eight-week intensive will be taught by Shakesperience’s professional actors. Students will explore various acting techniques and styles using the Shakesperience approach. Each class will focus on creating action through language while developing a positive ensemble. Intensives will culminate in a presentation to be shared by family and friends.

Session 1 will run from  9:30 to 11:30 am for children ages 7 through 11 and Session 2 for ages 12-16 will run from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Classes will be held at Shakesperience headquarters, 121 Bank Street (across from The Connecticut Store).

The cost is $250, and enrollment is limited to 125 students per session. Those who sign up with a friend or family member can receive ten percent off their registration fee.
