Helping The Team

To The Editor:

Recently, the New Milford High School Boy’s Lacrosse Team held a pancake breakfast fundraiser at the New Milford VFW Hall. As a team, we wanted to thank everyone involved in making our day so successful.

The VFW Post 1672 and especially two members Henry and Nancy Miller were instrumental in our success. The Millers helped us run the kitchen and guided us throughout the entire day. We also wanted to thank all the players and parents who volunteered their time during the event and the merchants who donated gift certificates and services to our silent auction: UK Gourmet of Newtown, Blue Jay Orchards, Steve’s Deli, Basils on 7, Agway, Etre Beau, The Wind Mill Diner, Mark Ford, I-95, Silver Touch Jewelry, Holiday Diner, and The Club. We really appreciate the communities continued support for our team and the sport of lacrosse.

Thank you for encouraging our kids and helping our team succeed.
