Newtown School Calendar Development

Newtown school administrators have met with a group of interested parents and teachers to discuss variables in formulating school calendars. As a result of this meeting, it was decided to solicit the opinions of parents, teachers, and citizens about their preferences.

A survey has been posted on the district website for interested persons to complete. The data will be tabulated and presented to the Board of Education as they consider adopting school calendars for the 2008-09 and 2009-10 school years. Go to www.newtown.k12.ct.us to access the survey.
