Cookies With Santa In Southbury

Southbury — Santa was snowed in last Friday night! The Southbury Junior Women’s Club will host a visit with Santa on Friday, December 14, from 6 to 8 pm at Rochambeau Middle School, 100 Peter Road.

This evening with Santa includes cookies and juice or milk, sing-alongs, and holiday crafts for kids of all ages. Santa and his elves will be on hand for visits, and of course, pictures! The Region 15 Perpetual fund will be taking pictures for a $3 dollar donation or attendee are welcome to bring their own cameras and snap away.

Admission is $5 and tickets will be available at the door. All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Region 15 Perpetual Fund. The following Southbury businesses very generously helped to underwrite the festivities: Southbury Soap & Candles, In a Snap Photo, and In Fashion Jewelry and Accessories.

In addition to the fun with Santa, this year the women’s club will hold a silent auction of beautiful wreaths decorated and donated by area businesses. One need not be present to win. Winners will be contacted after the auction closes.

Each business purchased a wreath for a small donation, decorated it for this special event, and donated it back to the Southbury Junior Women’s Club for auction. The result is a wide variety of beautiful, personally decorated wreaths for this holiday season.
