It is Santa’s busiest time of year, but he has not forgotten about the children on the “nice” list in Newtown this year. On Saturday, December 14, children will have two different opportunities to visit with Santa, take pictures, and tell him all about the gifts they want for Christmas this year.

From 9 to 11 am Breakfast With Santa will be presented by Newtown Parks & Recreation at Newtown Middle School, 11 Queen Street, to enjoy breakfast with the kids. Breakfast will include items like bagels, donuts, and yummy drinks like orange juice, hot chocolate, and coffee for parents.

Cost for this event is $5 per Newtown resident child, $10 per non-resident child, and registration is requested through Parks & Rec at 203-270-4340 or newtown-ct.gov/parks-recreation.

Santa asks that those who visit him at the middle school bring a nonperishable item for FAITH Food Pantry to spread the Christmas cheer.

From 9 to 11 am at Dodgingtown Market and Deli, 57 Dodgingtown Road, Santa will be singing Christmas songs and posing for photos with the children. He will lend his magical ear to the children here and listen to their wishes for Christmas.

This will be Santa’s second visit to Dodgingtown Market.
