Sandy Hook Christmas Trees (& More!) Sale Is Still Going On
For those who are looking for Christmas greens and also want to support one of Newtown's volunteer fire companies, Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company's annual Christmas Trees (& More) sale is underway at its main station, 18-20 Riverside Road, Thursdays to Sundays.
Shoppers can stop by from 6 to 9 pm on Thursdays, Fridays from 3 to 9 pm, Saturdays from 9 am to 9 pm, and Sundays from 9 am to 6 pm. The sale will continue until December 22, or while supplies last.
The company is selling fresh-cut trees from northern Vermont, as well as Connecticut made kissing balls, wreaths, and cemetery boxes, and more. Pine roping has already sold out this year, and the inventory was down to less than 100 trees as of December 11.
Proceeds benefit Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue and its mission to help keep Sandy Hook and Newtown safe.
