Connecticut Antiques Dealers Association

Offers New Membership Pamphlet

BRANFORD — The Connecticut Association of Dealers in Antiques, Inc. (CADA) has published its 2001 Membership Directory.

The pocket-sized pamphlet contains all the information the antiquer needs to know about CADA’s 50-plus members — specialties, shop hours, location, addresses, and phone numbers — all listed alphabetically by town. The directory is available by sending an SASE (#10 business size) to Robert Wheeler, 29 Crescent Bluff Ave., Branford, CT 06405. Membership in CADA is open to antiques and collectibles dealers and also to auctioneers, appraisers, promoters, and other in the antiques trade. Approximately six meetings are held throughout the year to share information.

Educational talk for 2000 included speakers on American art pottery and tiles, Dutch clocks, and antique American and English needlework.

Inquires should be directed to Carol Monday, 1648 Whitney, Avenue, Hamden, CT 96517; telephone 203/287-9015.
