Thelma (Cyge) Edelstein, 82, of Boxford, Mass., died November 30, from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease in Beverly, Mass.

Survivors include a daughter, Jill Previs of Sandy Hook.

Mrs Edelstein taught fourth grade in Woodbury for many years. A member of the Rotary Club of Southbury, she also was a tour leader at the Connecticut State Capitol, and was the co-chairperson of the Camp Committee of the North Western Connecticut Girl Scout Council for many years, where she was the recipient of the THANKS Award.

Services were held at an earlier date.
