Kathleen (Kilburn) Haydon, 73, of Fairfield, the beloved wife of the late Robert A. Haydon, died peacefully at home December 8, with her family by her side. She was born in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Ottilie (Wolf) and William Kilburn.

Her loving family, the joys of her life, children Lisa Burns, and her husband Scott, of Newtown and Robert S. Haydon, Jr, and his wife Danna, of Bridgeport; her brotherFred Kilburn, and his wife Jackie, of Shelton; her adored grandchildren, Ava and Evan Burns of Newtown; and her sisters-in-law, Sandra Filep, and her husband Charles, and Karen Haydon, all of Fairfield survive Mrs Haydon. In addition to her husband, her brother, William Kilburn, preceded her in death.

Mrs Haydon’s greatest joys in life were times spent with her family, and traveling.

Friends may greet her family Sunday, December 13, from 2 to 5 pm, at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road, in Fairfield Center. Her funeral service will take place Monday, December 14, at 11 am, directly at Salem Lutheran Church, 3160 Park Avenue, Bridgeport. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery.
