Win Big While Helping One Of Newtown’s Fire Companies

Botsford Fire Rescue is conducting a raffle, with winning tickets to be drawn just before Christmas and all proceeds from ticket sales to benefit the all-volunteer fire and rescue company.

Ten prizes are being offered, beginning with the grand prize of a 14-karat gold handcrafted link Mobe pearl and .12-carat diamond necklace valued at $1,500. Second prize is a five-piece 18 volt DeWalt Power Tool kit with hammer, drill, and 6½-inch circular saw with carrying case, valued at $750; and third prize is a 32-inch Samsung LED LCD HDTV.

Additional prizes are as follows: fourth place, $500 cash; fifth place, a $250 Visa Gift Card; six place, a $200 Lowe’s gift card; seventh place, a $200 gift card good for TJ Maxx, Marshall’s or HomeGoods; eighth place, a $100 Lowe’s gift card; ninth place, a $100 TJ Maxx gift card; and tenth place, a $100 Target gift card.

Tickets are available at the Botsford firehouse, 315 Main Street South, as well as Hometown Tool in Monroe and Planet Beach Tanning Salon in Sand Hill Plaza, 228 Main Street South in Newtown.

A total of 10,000 tickets will be sold, and all proceeds will benefit equipment and training budgets for the fire department. The drawing will be Tuesday, December 22, at 6 pm.
