Police Schedule Toy Drive For Needy Children

Town police officers will participate in their annual Toys For Tots toy collection project from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, December 12, in front of the TJ Maxx store at Sand Hill Plaza at 228 South Main Street (Route 25).

Police are seeking donations of new, unwrapped toys and also seeking donations of cash as part of the project to provide needy children with toys for Christmas.

Donations of toys also may be dropped off at the police station lobby at 3 Main Street.

The toy project is a joint effort of the police department and the police union. The Toys For Tots program is sponsored by the US Marine Corps Reserve.
