Holiday Festival Was A Rousing
Success
To the Editor:
The 24th Annual Holiday Festival, benefiting Newtown Youth & Family Services, was a rousing success.
We offer sincere thanks to the many people and organizations that helped stage this yearâs festival:
To Newtown Savings Bank, as our Patron Sponsor, thank you for your support this year and all the preceding years, not only for your level of financial support, but for the participation of your people, most particularly with the Victorian Tea.
To our other sponsors â Connecticut Tree Doctor; Nanavaty, Nanavaty & Davenport; Taunton Press; Union Savings Bank; and Webster Bank for their contributions. To all those other individuals and businesses too numerous to list here who gave money or donated items and services needed to produce the festival.
To the staff of Edmond Town Hall and C.H. Booth Library for graciously allowing us the use of the facilities and for your constant help when problems occur.
To the homeowners of this yearâs tour homes and to those area decorators who worked their magic on them.
To the Holiday Festival Committee, especially to Cyndy DaSilva and Denise Tramposch, House Tours; Stacey Olszewski, Craft Fair; Jennifer Johnston, Ballet; Maureen Birden, Victorian Tea; and Denise Rodriguez, Festival of Trees.
To the staff of Newtown Youth & Family Services and to its Board of Directors, who worked cheerfully and tirelessly to produce this event. Special thanks go to Amanda Walsh and Jessi Zeigler for help over and above the norm.
And finally, many thanks to all those Newtowners and other visitors who came and enjoyed a wonderful winter day with us!
Sincerely,
Beth Agen
