Breakfast With Santa

To the Editor:

My family joins me in sending many warm words of thanks to Newtown Parks & Recreation Department for hosting Breakfast with Santa on December 5. My family delighted in attending this much-anticipated event, which has become a special part of our Christmas tradition since moving to Sandy Hook in December 2007.

I want to express much gratitude for the time and energy dedicated by the individuals who organized and led this memorable occasion, including Amy Mangold, RoseAnn Reggiano, Theresa Viesto, Jake Moore, Cory Mangold, Cat Froderick, and Girl Scout Troop 651. Also, thank you to Dunkin’ Donuts, Bagel Delight, Starbucks, and Andrea’s Bakeshop for your generous and delicious donated contributions. Last, but not least, many thanks to Santa and Mrs Claus for granting all the wishes of our little ones, who you so enthusiastically greeted with a welcoming smile and a warm sentiment.

Many thanks again to Newtown Parks & Recreation for sponsoring such entertaining and enjoyable activities. We continue to look forward to supporting your programs throughout the year and strongly encourage our community to do the same.
