Adopt A Feline From The Animal Center
The following cats and kittens are available for adoption from The Animal Center:
CHEECH was found in a dumpster. He is friendly, sweet, and transitioning well to life indoors. He is healthy, neutered a current on vaccines.Â
JULIET and BOOM BOOM were among seven cats left behind when the owners of a rundown house in Shelton moved this fall. Juliet is a petite tortoiseshell kitty. She is fluffy and a real snuggler, who loves to curl up and be held. She has stopped purring since being taken into foster care. She is healthy, spayed and current on vaccines. Boom Boom is an extremely friendly and loving, and good with children. Boom Boom is estimated to be less than a year old. She loves attention and will jump up on her hind legs to greet you. She is healthy, spayed, and current on vaccines.
MARTIN was found living outside on his own in Newtown. He was so frightened when Animal Center officials first met him that he would hide under the blanket and let out a faint âhissâ whenever he was approached. But Martin is quickly learning that having food and shelter and a little love from humans isnât so bad after all. Martin is healthy, current on vaccines, and neutered.
KRINGLE is a cute 9-week-old female calico kitten. Kringle likes to âtalkâ to get your attention and will start purring madly once she gets it. Kringle loves to play and gets along great with other rescued kitties. She is healthy, spayed, and current on vaccines.
CHLOE may be 13 years old, but she is still a kitten at heart. Sheâs playful, purry and very affectionate. Her owner no longer wanted her and had asked a friend to bring her to the vet for euthanasia. Fortunately for Chloe, the friend suggested finding Chloe a new home instead. Chloe got her second chance and is available for adoption. She adores being petted and is a loving lap cat. Chloe also enjoys being held and cuddled and her quiet purr will happily complete any peaceful house. Chloe is spayed, healthy, and current on vaccines.
PATCHES is a two-year old tortoiseshell cat looking for a home to call her own. Found cold and rummaging for food in a residential Newtown neighborhood, she has adjusted quickly to life indoors. Patches would love to find a kind and patient owner in a home where she can let her perky personality blossom. Patches is healthy, spayed, and current on vaccines.
Good news: Jeter, Guy Noir, Mocha Joe, Romie, Mayflower, and Mistletoe have all been adopted.
