To the Editor:

This past weekend the Friends of the C.H. Booth Library sponsored our 11th annual Holiday Sale to benefit the town library. The sale was a huge success thanks to the many people who came from near and far to find gifts for their friends and family!

Another crucial contributing factor to the sale’s success was the generosity of the local businesses that donated brand-new gift items: Big Y, Butcher’s Best, Divine Dogs, Down on Main, Everything Newtown, Hollandia Nurseries, Newtown Hardware, The Toy Tree, and Yankee Wine all showed wonderful holiday spirit!

If you couldn’t find the time last weekend or are wondering what to get a special person on your gift list, come visit the Little Book Store on the second floor of the C.H. Booth Library. We still have many gift-quality books and boutique items that may just fit the bill, but supplies are limited.
